Students Ready for What's Next

Grades 8–12

For students in grades 8–12 who are done just thinking about the future and ready to plan for it. Whether college is one year away or five, the SuCCess Program helps students build a roadmap that's specific, actionable, and theirs.

College. Careers. Missions to the Moon. The program behind the SuCCess Program has helped thousands of Texas students go on to do extraordinary things — and it all starts with a plan.

Elisa Rivera, Mission Integrator, NASA Artemis II

Elisa Rivera

Elisa Rivera grew up in El Paso, Texas, and graduated from Harmony Science Academy–El Paso. She went on to earn degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering from UTEP and Purdue University. On April 1, 2026, she stood at NASA's Kennedy Space Center and watched the Artemis II rocket lift off toward the Moon — a mission she helped launch.

As a Mission Integrator on Artemis II — the first crewed lunar flyby in over 50 years — Elisa was part of the team that made history. Four astronauts flew around the Moon. She was one of the people who got them there.

"I'm thrilled, proud, and happy to witness today's historic Artemis II launch. This moment marks a powerful step forward for human exploration. This is a milestone that will echo for generations. What an incredible day to look towards the moon." — Elisa Rivera, Mission Integrator, NASA Artemis II

Graduates of the program behind SuCCess have gone on to attend colleges and universities across Texas and the country, including:

University of Texas at Austin
Texas A&M University
